Through a rigorous RFP process, we applied for PNRR… capex relief and guaranteed pricing for our development producing approximately 4.7MWp on 8 hectacres, with hazelnut farming underneath. Rotating agrivoltaic systems—such as elevated, cable-suspended solar canopies—use mobile panels that track the sun and adjust shading to shield crops from extreme weather, reduce water evaporation, and maximize solar efficiency. Instead of a static shadow, rotating panels pivot throughout the day. This provides targeted, partial shade that prevents the delicate crop from overheating while still giving plants the light they need for photosynthesis.
